AR&D Retreat: All Aboar&d
2-11-2023
The Amsterdam Reproduction & Development Research Institute of Amsterdam UMC hosted a two-day AR&D retreat entitles All Aboar&d, and it’s safe to say it was a tremendous success! Designed as a networking event, the retreat brought together experts, enthusiasts, and learners in the field of reproduction and development research.
One of the highlights of the retreat was the series of key lectures, including one delivered by Bernadette de Bakker.
But it wasn’t all lectures and learning! The retreat was also packed with a variety of interactive workshops that fostered engaging conversations and hands-on experiences. These sessions were not only informative but also provided a platform for participants to share knowledge and ideas in a more dynamic setting.
A special mention must go to the phenomenal team of PhD students who, in collaboration with the AR&D directors and support staff, organized this event. Their dedication and hard work were evident in every detail, from the seamless coordination of activities to the vibrant social events that included a delightful dinner and party.
The retreat was more than just an academic gathering; it was a celebration of knowledge, collaboration, and community. It truly showcased the spirit of the Amsterdam Reproduction & Development Research Institute and left participants eagerly anticipating the next one.
