Family Prof. Jan Langman visited 3D Embryo Atlas
1-11-2021
Such an honour that the wife and daughter of the late Prof. Jan Langman came over from the USA and visited our department for an update on the 3D Atlas Projects, the latest education techniques and a guided tour at Museum Vrolik!
Jan Langman was a Dutch embryologist who worked as Professor in the Department of Anatomy at McGill from 1957 to 1964. His textbook Medical Embryology (Lippincott, Williams & Wilkins) was first published in 1963 and has become the standard in the field. It has been translated into several languages and is now in its 12th edition (authored by Thomas W. Sadler, 2011).
Thanks to Dr. Paul Peters, a retired surgeon with a great passion for embryology, to arrange this meeting.
