Marieke Buijtendijk presented Cochrane Review at ISUOG in Seoul, South Korea

At October 19 2023, Marieke Buijtendijk presented our preliminary findings from a Cochrane Systematic Review on first and second trimester ultrasound accuracy for detecting congenital anomalies at the International Society for Ultraosund in Obstetrics and Gynecology (ISUOG) World Congress in Seoul, South Korea.
The study showed how effective ultrasound is in both early and later stages of pregnancy and highlighted the added value of implementing a first-trimester anomaly scan in addition to the routine midtrimester scan.
The congress served as a dynamic platform for experts from various fields. The various presentations sparked engaging disucssions and emphasized a shared commitment to improve diagnostic tools for maternal and fetal health globally.
